Abstract

Formasi spiritualitas remaja menghadapi tantangan deformasi iman dari sisi eksternal dan sisi internal. Guru merupakan ujung tombak peran transformatif sekolah Kristen. Di tengah situasi yang genting yang diwarnai dengan tren eksodus dan deformasi iman, SMP/SMA XYZ perlu mencermati kualitas kepemimpinan guru dalam formasi spiritualitas siswa. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi sikap-sikap tertentu dari guru yang menghasilkan kepemimpinan transformasional dalam formasi spiritualitas siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif berupa studi fenomenologis yang meneliti fenomena formasi spiritualitas dari pengalaman siswa sebagai penerima peran kepemimpinan guru. Sumber data ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling yang dikumpulkan dari wawancara. Pengujian keabsahan data dilakukan dengan validasi dari ahli, narasumber, dan triangulasi. Data dianalisa dengan menggunakan tiga tahapan koding, menemukan tema, merelasikan dengan permasalahan penelitian, mendeskripsikan, dan mencari makna dari pengalaman yang diutarakan. Dari hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa siswa SMP/SMA XYZ mengalami siswa mengalami momen krisis yang menjadi teachable moment dan mengalami timbulnya kesadaran. Sikap-sikap yang khas dari karakteristik kepemimpinan transformasional yang berperan dalam formasi spiritualitas siswa adalah: pribadi yang berwatak dan berwawasan, pengajaran yang alkitabiah dan relasional dalam wadah kegiatan, formasi yang bersifat akademis dan pastoral. / The spiritual formation of young people faces the internal and external challenges. Teachers are at the forefront of the transformative role of Christian schools to fight faith deformation. In the midst of critical situations marked by faith deformation and exodus, SMP/SMA XYZ needs to pay close attention to the quality of teacher transformational leadership in the spiritual formation of students.This study identifies certain teacher attitudes that produce transformational leadership in students spiritual formation. This research is a phenomenological qualitative research that examines the phenomenon of spirituality formation from the experience of students as recipients of teacher transformational leadership. The data source is determined by the purposive sampling method, collected in the form of interviews. Data validity testing is done by validation from experts, informants, and triangulation. Data were analyzed using three stages of coding, finding themes, correlating with research problems, describing, and searching for meaning from experiences expressed. The results of the study reveals that students experienced moments of crisis that became teachable moments and experienced the emergence of awareness. Typical main attitudes of transformational leadership that play a role in students’ spiritual formation are: person with biblical worldview and character, biblical and relational teaching, academic and pastoral formation.
