Seiring perkembangan di Indonesia anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum baik sebagai korban maupun pelaku tindak pidana wajib dilindungi hak-hak nya oleh pemerintah dan tidak boleh diperlakukan secara diskriminatif. Anak membutuhkan perlindungan serta perlakuan khusus hukum yang berbeda dari orang dewasa, bertujuan memunculkan perbedaan perlakuan dan penanganan anak supaya tidak terjadi kurangnya atau tidak adanya pembinaan terhadap anak. Sehingga dapat terciptanya penegakakan hukum yang sesuai dengan Undang-Undang 35 Tahun 2014 Tentang Perlindungan Anak. Jenis metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk menjawab permasalahan adalah penelitian yuridis normatif berupa proses pengambilan pengkajian tentang perundang-undangan dengan pokok kajiannya adalah hukum dikonsepsi sebagai norma atau kaidah, sehingga penelitian kepustakaan dan studi dokumen disebabkan penelitian ini lebih banyak terhadap data yang bersifat sekunder yang terdapat diperpustakaan. Berdasarkan keseluruhan penelitian ini diperoleh hasil sebagai mana, Upaya perlindungan hukum terhadap anak sebagai pelaku tindak pidana berupa penegakan hukum terhadap berbagai kebebasan dan hak asasi anak (fundamentalright and freedoms of children) serta berbagai kepentingan yang berhubungan dengan kesejahteraan anak. Setiap anak memiliki hak dan kewajiban selama melaksanakan perlindungan yang timbul dari beberapa faktor masyarakat, keluarga, penegak hukum, faktor sarana dan prasarana. Proses peradilan anak memberikan layanan perlakuan mewujudkan komponen lembaga instansi masyakarakat terhadap tindak pidana. Mekanisme penanganan anak yang berhadapan dengan sistem peradilan pidana anak, sehingga diperlukan pendampingan yang kuat dari penegak hukum maupun terhadap orangtua bukti mereka masih membutuhkan kuatnya suatu perlindungan / As developments in Indonesia, children who are dealing with the law both as victims and perpetrators of criminal acts must be protected by their rights by the government and should not be treated discriminatively. Based on the overall results of this research, which results are obtained, The effort of the legal protection of children as the perpetrators of crime in the form of law enforcement against various freedoms and children’s rights (fundamental right and freedoms of children) as well as various interests related to the child welfare. Every child has rights and obligations during carrying out protection arising from the several factors such as society, family, the law enforcers, also factors of facilities and infrastructure. The juvenile justice process provides treatment services to realize the institutional component of community agencies towards the criminal acts. The mechanism for handling children is dealing with the juvenile criminal justice system, so that the strong assistance is needed from the law enforcers and the parents as the evidences that the children still need the strong protection
