Photography is a work that specially protected by law on article No. 28 Year 2014 about copyright, especially in this article is adding about the economy rights of potraits, but violations towards copyrights happens more especially of a photograph because a photo is now in the form of an electronic data, because of that people can easily manipulate and admitted to be someone else. The Indonesian Law of Copyright should be able to protect it's citizen's work so that they are motivated to create more and contribute to the walfare of the country. This thesis analyze a case about Violation of intellectual property rights in photography, the case is about the economical right violation. In order to analize, there is need to study from law, journals, books, and the case that related in order to understand. Furthermore there's also a need for a more intensive socialization towards photographers and law enforcers so the implementation of indonesian Copyright law is more effective and the people will act positively towards the law.
