Abstract

Kepemimpinan welas asih merupakan satu hal yang esensial dalam menghadapi wabah khususnya dalam bidang pendidikan anak usia dini. Setiap orang memiliki kemampuan yang berbeda-beda untuk beradaptasi dan menyelesaikan tugas di tengah pandemi covid-19, diperlukan kepercayaan guru pada manajemen sekolah untuk belajar menghadapi perubahan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh kepemimpinan welas asih di tengah pandemi covid-19 terhadap kemampuan beradaptasi, kemampuan menyelesaikan tugas, serta kepercayaan guru pada manajemen kelompok bermain dan taman kanak-kanak di sebuah sekolah swasta di daerah Jakarta Utara. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 49 orang guru, dimana pada hasil penelitian yang menggunakan metode kuantitatif terindentifikasi bahwa kepemimpinan welas asih di tengah pandemi covid-19 berpengaruh positif pada kemampuan beradaptasi, kemampuan menyelesaikan tugas, serta kepercayaan guru pada manajemen kelompok bermain dan taman kanak-kanak sekolah XYZ, Jakarta Utara. / Compassionate leadership is essential in dealing with epidemics, especially in early childhood education field. Everyone has different capabilities to adapt and to complete tasks in the midst covid-19 pandemic, teachers need to trust school management to face the changes. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of compassionate leadership in the midst of covid-19 pandemic on early childhood teachers’ adaptability, ability to complete assignments, and trust the school management in private school in the North Jakarta area. Respondents in this study are 49 teachers, where quantitative methods were used to get research results. It was identified that compassionate leadership in the midst of covid-19 pandemic had a positive effect on early childhood teachers’ ability to adapt, ability to complete tasks, and trust of XYZ school, North Jakarta.
