Interfaith marriages in Indonesia often occur and may continue to occur in Indonesian society. As a result of social interaction among all citizens in a country that adheres to pluralism, in this case, a religion like Indonesia. The purpose of the author in writing this thesis is to increase knowledge about family law, namely in the case of interfaith marriage, the specific purpose of this thesis is to know and analyze the provisions of interfaith marriages in the Philippines with the applicable law in Indonesia referring to the 1974 Marriage Law. and to find out the implementation of registration of interfaith marriages that are carried out overseas and at the Population and Civil Registry Service in Pangkal Pinang. The type of research in this thesis uses normative juridical research methods. This study, the authors use primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials. The results of this study are the status of marriage between couples of different religions in the Philippines, which can be said to be legal in Indonesia if a marriage that is carried out abroad in the eyes of Indonesian law only needs to be proven by a marriage certificate. The registration of interfaith marriages abroad and the Pangkal Pinang Population and Civil Registry Service is currently passive in the sense that it does not reject applications for registration of marriages that are held overseas.
