Abstract

Pada usia emerging adult (18-25 tahun), seorang individu mulai memasuki tahap untuk mempersiapkan diri menuju pernikahan. Oleh sebab, itu, pada usia emerging adult, individu akan lebih selektif dalam memilih pasangan dan kemudian berpacaran. Dalam menjalani proses berpacaran, dibutuhkan trust yang menjadi dasar dari suatu hubungan dari masing-masing individu. Meskipun dalam menjalin suatu hubungan terdapat trust dari masing-masing individu, hal tersebut tidak membuat suatu hubungan terhindar dari konflik yang dapat menyebabkan jealousy. Sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah peneliti ingin menganalisis hubungan antara trust dan jealousy pada emerging adult yang berpacaran. Dalam penelitian ini, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan kuesioner kepada responden secara langsung. Berdasarkan hasil pengumpulan data tersebut, peneliti mendapati bahwa adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara trust dan jealousy pada emerging adult yang berpacaran. / In emerging adult (18-25 years), an individual begins to enter the stage to prepare for marriage. Therefore, in adulthood, individuals will be more selective in choosing a partner and then dating. In the process of dating, it takes trust that becomes the basis of a relationship of each individual. Although in a relationship there is trust from each individual, it does not make a relationship protected from conflicts that can cause jealousy. With the result of this research is researcher wish to analyze relationship between trust and jealousy at emerging adult dating. In this study, the completion of data is done by giving questionnaires to respondents directly. Based on the results of data completion, the researchers found a significant positive relationship between trust and jealousy in emerging adult dating.
