Indonesia is a state which bases its corporate activities on the law. It is a responsibility of a state to provide legal certainty for the existing regulations. The research and analysis of this research use a juridical normative type of research with secondary data as the type of data used. The data collection technique uses library study which is supported by qualitative data analysis, as well as approaches that include the statute approach, case approach, and conceptual approach. The issue analyzed in this paper is regarding a public company who operates in the banking field, PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk, in a dispute with its customer. The dispute resulted because of the company’s decision to become the sub-agent of its principal. Furthermore, this issue will be analyzed based on the Good Corporate Governance regulation, in order to see whether such company has fulfilled its obligation to comply with the Good Corporate Governance regulation for either as a public company or a bank and whether such compliance has an effect to the verdict. The regulation which regulates Good Corporate Governance is regulated in Regulation of Financial Services Authority No. 21 of 2015 concerning Implementation of Corporate Governance Guidance of Public Company and Regulation of Financial Services Authority No. 55 of 2016 concerning Implementation of Corporate Governance of Public Bank.
