Social media presence now easily spreads to the society. People use social media to interact towards each other, and they do it online. Media social gives positive impacts, such as people can easily access any information and also can communicate from far away. Meanwhile not all social media has positive impact, some people missed used social media and spending too much time on social media. Therefore the more sophisticated those technology ,the more violation of law also in Indonesia. Problems comes up whenever people do ilegal actions, such as spreading and making copies of movies ilegally in a matter of time. Basically, copyrights infractions happens if that copyrights being used without permissions. Copyright definiton has been set in article 4 of law Number 28 year 2014. Copyrights infractions which often happens are copyrights related to movies. Movies that shared to Insta-story are indirect announcement to society. That actions are breaking the elements in copyrights, such as moral rights and economy rights. Breaking moral rights because recording a few of movie’s part, also breaking economy rights because spreading the video of the movies ilegally bring harm to the creators.
