Abstract

Latar Belakang: Dalam pembentukan karier masa depan, nilai memiliki peran yang sangat penting. Mahasiswa akan secara alami mengalami tekanan yang berat untuk mendapatkan nilai yang tinggi, dengan demikian kecemasan ujian merupakan hal yang umum dirasakan oleh mahasiswa. Salah satu faktor terjadinya kecemasan ujian adalah kurangnya persiapan ujian. Perilaku penundaan akademik sangat sering terjadi pada mahasiswa, ini merupakan hal yang umum dilakukan untuk menyampingkan tugas akademik, salah satunya adalah persiapan ujian. Data tentang tingkat penundaan akademik dan kecemasan ujian masih sangat sedikit di Indonesia khususnya mahasiswa kedokteran, maka dari itu dibutuhkan penelitian yang lebih lanjut./ Background: to form a future carrier, grade is playing important roles. Student are naturally under high pressure to achieving high scores, thus, test anxiety has become universal experience felt by student. One of the factor causing test anxiety is lack of test preparation. Academic procrastination is quite common among student, it is common practice that student put off their work especially the preparation of test. Data of academic procrastination and test anxiety is rarely in Indonesia especially medical students. Therefore, further research is needed Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk melihat perbedaan mean tingkat penundaan akademik terhadap kecemasan ujian pada mahasiswa FK UPH./ Aim of Study: To find the Mean difference of stage of academic procrastination and test anxiety among UPH medical student. Metodologi Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi potong lintang yang akan dilakukan pada 135 orang. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa FK UPH. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non-random purposive sampling. Data didapatkan melalui kuesioner penundaan akademik Abu-Ghazal dan kuesioner kecemasan ujian Westside. Data akan diolah dengan teknik Kruskal-Wallis dan T test dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 23./ Research Methods: The design of the study is cross-sectional, the sample is 135 UPH medical student. The data will be obtained by non-random purposive sampling. The data of academic procrastination is obtained from Abu-Ghazal academic procrastination questionnaire and the data of test anxiety is obtained from Westside test anxiety questionnaire. The data will be processed with Kruskal-Wallis test and T test using SPSS software version 23. Hasil: Terdapat 135 mahasiswa yang bersedia menjadi responden yang terdiri dari laki- laki 47.7% (n=64) dan perempuan 52.6% (n=71). Rata-rata umur responden 20.7±0.84 dengan minumum 18 dan maksimum 26. Terdapat 34.1% (n=46) responden melakukan penundaan akademik ringan, sebanyak 57% (n=77) responden melakukan penundaan akademik sedang dan sebanyak 12% (n=12) responden melakukan penundaan akademik berat. Rata-rata skor kecemasan ujian pada penundaan akademik ringan adalah 2.41±0.63, pada penundaan akademik sedang adalah 2.76±0.71, dan pada penundaan akademik berat adalah 2.94±0.72. Hasil uji Kruskal-Wallis menunjukkan P value 0.001./ Results: The data obtained from 135 students who became respondents consisting of men 47.7% (n = 64) and women 52.6% (n = 71). The average age of respondents was 20.7 ± 0.84 with a minimum of 18 and a maximum of 26. There were 34.1% (n=46) of respondents had mild academic procrastination, 57% (n=77) of respondents had moderate academic procrastination and 8.9% (n=12) of respondets had severe academic procrastination.. The average exam anxiety score on mild academic procrastination are 2.41 ± 0.63, on moderate academic procrastination are 2.76 ± 0.7 and on severe academic procrastination are 2.94±0.72. Kruskal-Wallis test results showed P value 0.001 Simpulan: Berdasarkan statistik, terdapat perbedaan mean antara tingkat penundaan akademik terhadap kecemasan ujian./ Conclusion: Based on statistic, there are difference mean of stage of academic procrastination and test anxiety.
