Abstract
The sophistication of electronic informatiton technology nowadays is quite easier for everyone to do variety of communication with one another. So anything is gettting easier to obtain and access to information is very easy. Along with the development of information technology is so rapid, certain people can also abuse the means of communication with the electronic media fraud crimes. The objective of this research are to understand forms of fraud in online shopping sites, and to understand fraud related regulations in online shopping sites (ecommerce) based on the Indonesia law. This research constitutes the juridical normative research with the technical writing used is descriptive analytical. Futhermore, the result is outlined in the clear explanation, systematic and efficient to summaries a relevant conclusion. It is also supported with the secondary data collected with the method of literature study. Based on one of the principles of criminal law is a special law that exludes general law, known as lex specialis derogate legi generalis so the result, it concludes The law that can be applied in this fraud cases are Article 378 of Indonesia Penal Law Code (KUHP), Article 28 clause 1 Law No. 19 of 2016 on Revised of Law No. 11 of 2008 on Information and Electronic Transaction.
