PT. Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) is a State Owned Enterprise (SOE) that takes care of all aspects of electricity in Indonesia. To expand the electricity business, PT. PLN (Persero) develop constructions. Like the Muara Tawar Steam Power Plant in Bekasi. Before the development of PT. PLN they must process the land acquisition in advance to provide compensation to the party who owns the land rights. In the process of land acquisition PT. PLN requires land acquisition planning by forming Team 9 that is established by the Government of Bekasi Regency. The process of land acquisition in Muara Tawar Steam Power Plant that has been implemented has no obstacles. The problem is that after the land acquisition process has been carried out there are claims from some people who feel they have not received compensation. In the case of land acquisition Muara Tawar Steam Power Plant which the writer follows there are several proceedures until the trial session of the verdict. This judicial process is conducted at the Bekasi District Court. Prior to the lawsuit, the plaintiff had already conducted a mediation with PT. PLN but this mediation process does not meet a decision, because PT.PLN does not want to grant the compensation of Rp. 27 billion. In this internship report, the writer elaborates experience as an intern at PT. PLN (Persero). Hence this internship report is structured as a comprehensive report that can present theoretical knowledge as well as practice related to this discussion.
