Kejahatan Hipnotis adalah suatu kejahatan terhadap harta kekayaan yang tujuannya yaitu untuk memperoleh keuntungan bagi diri sendiri ataupun orang lain. Dalam melancarkan kejahatan ini para pelaku harus mempengaruhi korban yang telah ditargetkan agar supaya pelaku dengan mudah dapat mengambil suatu barang bernilai milik korban. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe penelitian yuridis normatif-doktrinal. Melalui penelitian ini, ditemukan ada 4 (empat) jenis kejahatan terhadap harta kekayaan, yaitu kejahatan pencurian, kejahatan pemerasan serta pengancaman, kejahatan penggelapan, dan kejahatan perbuatan curang (penipuan). Dari hasil penelitian ini penulis menemukan bahwa kejahatan hipnotis termasuk dalam kejahatan penipuan sebagaimana telah diatur dalam KUHP sebab kejahatan ini saling berkaitan dengan unsur-unsur pada pasal 378 KUHP. Dengan demikian para pelaku kejahatan hipnotis dapat diancam hukum pidana / Hypnosis crime is a crime against property whose purpose is to gain benefits for oneself or others. In carrying out this crime, the criminals must influence the targeted victim so that the criminals can easily take the victim's valuables. This research uses a juridical normative-doctrinal research type. Through this research, it was found that there were 4 (four) types of crimes against property, namely the crime of theft, crime of extortion and threats, crime of embezzlement, and crimes of fraud. From the results of this study the authors found that hypnosis crime is included in the crime of fraud as regulated in the Criminal Code because this crime is interrelated with the elements in Article 378 of the Criminal Code. Thus the criminals of hypnosis crimes can be punished by criminal law
