Abstract
Perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang jasa angkutan udara sangat sensitif dengan masalah kepercayaan, karena apabila terjadi suatu kecelakaan maka maskapai penerbangan tersebut akan mengalami krisis kepercayaan yang akan membawa dampak negatif terhadap citra. Lion Air sebagai maskapai penerbangan di Indonesia mendapat pemberitaan negatif terkait dengan ditemukannya pilot Lion Air yang menggunakan narkoba sebelum bertugas. Pemberitaan ini dapat menghilangkan kepercayaan publik terhadap Lion Air karena efek narkoba yang dapat membahayakan konsentrasi pilot sehingga akan membahayakan keselamatan penumpang. Penelitian ini mengukur citra Lion Air, dimana citra perusahaan adalah persepsi yang mencakup segala hal dari impresi visual logo, sampai ke pengamatan dan pengalaman produk, jasa dan prilaku perusahaan secara umum. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah pengguna jasa transportasi udara yang berada di bandara Soekarno-Hatta Jakarta. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini dengan total skor persepsi sebelum kasus 68,2% dengan kriteria skor persepsi kuat dan total persepsi stelah kasus 65,3% dengan kriteria skor persepsi kuat, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberitaan negatif mengenai Lion Air tidak mengurangi persepsi terhadap citra Lion Air, karena persepsi terhadap identitas perusahaan tetap kuat. / Companies engaged in the field of air transport services are very sensitive to the issue of trust, because in the event of an accident the arilines would experiences a crisis of trust that will bring negative impact on its image. Lion Air as Indonesian airliners had a negative news that related with founding Lion Air pilot who use drugs before flying an airplane. The negative news could make the loss of public trustfor Lion Air, because theeffects of drugs that can harm the concentration of the pilot and endanger the safety of passengers. This study measures the image of Lion Air that image is perception and embrace everything from the visual impression of a corporate logo to observations and experiences of products, services and corporate behaviour in general. Research using a quantitative approach, and the survey method. The population of this study is the users of air transport services at Soekarno-Hatta airport in Jakarta. Techniques of data analysis is using a descriptive analysis. The results of this study with total score before the issue is 68,2% that has strong perceptions score and after the issue is 65,3% also has a strong perceptions score, so it can be concluded that the negative news about Lion Air does not decrease the total perceptions of the Lion Air image, because the perception of corporate identity remains strong.
