This report describes the internship I spent at the Notary Office & PPAT Eliwaty Tjitra S.H.. The internship at the Notary Office & PPAT Eliwaty Tjitra S.H. provided me with the opportunity to work as an employee in the notary office, which is will be very useful for my career as a notary. The purpose of this internship is to obtain more knowledge and experience about the profession of the Notary itself. The topic of this internship report is about certificate of inheritance. According to the topic of this internship report, the focus of the discussion in this internship report are about the process of making a certificate of inheritance in the notary’s office and the responsibility of notary in making a certificate of inheritance. The certificate of inheritance made by a notary in Indonesia can only be made for Indonesian Citizens of Chinese descent only. Other than Indonesian Citizens of Chinese descent can not make a certificate of inheritance in the notary’s office. Notary are given the authority by the government to make a certificate of inheritance for Indonesian Citizens of Chinese descent. As the notary has been given the authority by the government to make a certificate of inheritance for Indonesian Citizens of Chinese descent, notary has a responsibility for the certificate of inheritance made by them. However, the notary’s responsibility is only restricted to the formal form.
