The aim of this research is to determine the effect of family profession (Variable X) towards entrepreneurial interest (Variable Y). Subject of this research is management students of Universitas Pelita Harapan Medan batch 2014, with sample of 68 students that consist of 55 Entrepreneurship and Family Business specialization’ students and 13 Marketing specialization students. Methods used are quantitative descriptive research. Data obtained by questionnaire which is proceeded by using SPSS and it is tested by using Validity Test and Reliability Test, Normality Test, Coefficient of Correlation, Coefficient of Determination and T-test. Result of Tcount is greater than Ttable where 4.752 > 0.232 while significant value is 0.000 < 0.005 means that the hypothesis alternative is accepted. Based on the results, family profession has a significant impact on entrepreneurial interest of Universitas Pelita Harapan Medan students.
