PT Lontar Papyrus Pulp and Paper Medan is a distributor and producer of several types of paper. The main products include tissue paper, books, and CDB paper which is used for shoe boxes, rice boxes and posters. The company is located at Jalan Diponegoro No. 18, Medan 20152, North Sumatra, Indonesia. PT. Lontar Papyrus Pulp and Paper Medan understands that well-established entrepreneurship orientation can help consumers strengthening their brand emotional ties, enhance preference, trust, loyalty and firm orientation. The purposes of this research were knowing the entrepreneurship orientation at PT. Lontar papyrus Pulp and Paper Medan, knowing how the firm performance had been and identifying the impact of entrepreneurship orientation on firm performance at PT. Lontar papyrus Pulp and Paper Medan. The entrepreneurship orientation indicators used in the research are innovativeness, risk taking propensity, proactiveness, competitive aggressiveness, and autonomy and the firm performance indicators are profitability and sales growth measures in the company. This research was done with quantitative approach. The methods used in this research included the descriptive and correlational design. The data collection was conducted by observation, interview and questionnaires to the respondents. The results of the analysis were that the entrepreneurship orientation of the company was not enough to increase the firm performance, while the firm performance of the company was not good enough, entrepreneurship orientation had impact on firm performance at PT. Lontar Papyrus Pulp and Paper Medan which means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Entrepreneurship orientation had a strong and positive relationship with firm performance based othe correlation and linear regression equation results.
