Abstract

In today’s society, being an entrepreneur is viewed as the national resource that ought to be nurtured, developed, and compensated to the highest position possible. The workplace environment impacts employee morale, performance and engagement both positively and negatively. Most of working environments in business industries are neither completely comfortable nor safety guaranteed. For this research, the writer will use census sampling as the method for research. There are 30 respondents will be given questionnaires, however before doing the survey, the writer will conduct preliminary interview on one of the employees in PT. Garuda Mas Perkasa, Medan. There are 9 data analysis tests that will be used in this research, which are validity test, reliability test, descriptive statistic, normality test, linearity test, coefficient correlation test, determination test, simple linear regression test and hypothesis testing. The result from counting the determination test is 26.6%. It can be concluded that the influence of working environment towards employee’s performance is amount to 26.6%. Based on the hypothesis testing, Ho rejected, Ha accepted because T-count is bigger than T-table. This research has been conducted to find if there is an influence of working environment towards employee’s performance at PT. Garuda Mas Perkasa, Medan. The hypothesis test also showed that there is an influence between working environment towards employee’s performance.
