This research aims to find out the legal protection given to the creator, copyright owner, or other relevant parties of a book creation to resolve book duplication conducts. In order to know the sanction imposition for business people, both the book copying service provider and the store that sells illegally duplicated book, for the violation of book copyright. It also aims to know whether the buyer of the illegally duplicated book is accusable or not. The results of the research are: 1) Legal protection given by the government to the creator, copyright owner, or other relevant parties of a book creation is done through a promotion to the society to campaign how important it is to appreciate book copyright; 2) Types of sanction imposed to the business people, both the copying service provider and the store that sells the duplicated book, without the permit from the creator and violates the book’s copyright; and 3) Whether the illegally duplicated book buyers are also accusable or not.
