Abstract
Latar Belakang: Penyebab kematian tertinggi di Indonesia didominasi oleh penyakit tidak menular (PTM). PTM dapat disebabkan oleh pola makan yang dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, salah satunya pengetahuan. Kurangnya pengetahuan pola makan membuat remaja Indonesia memiliki pola konsumsi buah dan sayur yang kurang baik. Menurut data GSHS, total remaja yang mengonsumsi buah dan sayur sesuai anjuran masih rendah, yaitu 23,22%. Penelitian ini sudah pernah dilakukan di Indonesia, namun belum pernah pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran. Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan pola makan sehat dengan konsumsi buah dan sayur pada mahasiswa praklinik Fakultas Kedokteran UPH. Metodologi Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi potong lintang dengan teknik simple random sampling pada 114 mahasiswa praklinik usia remaja akhir Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan yang dilakukan pada Maret – April 2020. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan food diary, semi quantitative food frequency questionnaire dan kuesioner pengetahuan pola makan sehat yang sudah tervalidasi. Data dianalisis dengan uji korelatif Spearman menggunakan IBM SPSS versi 23.0. Hasil Penelitian: Terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara pengetahuan pola makan sehat dengan konsumsi buah dan sayur dengan kekuatan korelasi lemah (p value: 0,005, r: 0,263). Simpulan: Terdapat hubungan positif bermakna antara pengetahuan pola makan sehat dengan konsumsi buah dan sayur dengan kekuatan korelasi lemah. / Background: The highest cause of death in Indonesia is dominated by non-communicable diseases (PTM). PTM can be caused by diet which is influenced by many factors, one of them is knowledge. Lack of knowledge about eating patterns make teenagers in Indonesia have poor fruit and vegetable consumption patterns. According to GSHS data, the total number of adolescents who consume fruits and vegetables as recommended is still low at 23.22%. This research has been conducted in Indonesia, but has never been done to students of the Faculty of Medicine. Aim: To find the relationship between the knowledge of healthy eating patterns with fruit and vegetable consumption among pre-clinical medical students of Pelita Harapan University. Method: This study uses a cross-sectional study design with simple random sampling technique in 114 pre-clinic medical students in their late adolescence at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Pelita Harapan, which was conducted in in March - April 2020. Data were collected using a food diary and semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire and a validated healthy eating pattern knowledge questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Spearman correlative test technique using IBM SPSS version 23.0. Results: There was a significant positive relationship between knowledge of healthy eating patterns with consumption of fruits and vegetables with weak correlation strength (p value: 0.005, correlation coefficient (r): 0.263). Conclusion: There is a significant positive relationship between knowledge of healthy eating with fruit and vegetable consumption with weak correlation strength.
