System in organization will become more complex as the business grows and management will not be able to involve directly in all aspects of activities in the organization. This reason underlies the need to form an effective and integrated monitoring system that aims to help organization in achieving its goals. The conduct of this study was based on the phenomenon where people commonly have the wrong ideas and negative perspective toward auditors, whether internal or external. The purpose of this research was to identify the influence of internal auditor’s roles as watchdog, consultant, and catalyst towards company goals. This quantitative descriptive research was conducted on 44 employees of PT Sushi Indo Sukses Mandiri through purposive sampling. Data were collected by valid and reliable questionnaire. Collected data sets were analyzed by IBM SPSS version 21. The role of internal audit as watchdog was the only role that has significant influence towards company goals at PT Sushi Indo Sukses Mandiri. Company is expected not to be too focused on watchdog and does not ignore the other role that has possibility to bring improvement to the company’s performance to achieve its goals.
