Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a process of applying creativity and innovation to solve and seek opportunities. Compensation is a reward for services provided by the company to the nworkforce in order to achieve the goals that have been set. Employee‟s job performance is the result of work in quality and quantity achieved by an employee in performing their duties in accordance with the responsibilities given to him. The objective of this study is to know the impacts of compensation as motivationtowards employee‟s job performances at CV.TIO Medan. The methods used by the writer in this research are descriptive method and correlational method. Data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis methods used in this research include descriptive statistics, validity test, reliability test, normality test, coefficient of correlation, coefficient of determination, linear regression analysis and Z test Based on research results, from validity and reliability test, all the questions are considered valid and reliable. Through correlation test, this study prove that there was a significantly strong and positive relationship between compensation and employee‟s job performances. The coefficient of determination is 87.1%. The linear regression equation is Y = 8.885 + 1.044 X. It means that for each addition of 1 uniton compensation value, job performance value increases by 1.044 units. From Z test, it can be seen that alternative hypothesis was accepted because Zcount >Ztable (8.481> 1.96).
