Abstract

Televisi merupakan media massa elektronik yang menyajikan audiovisual ke dalam rumah. Televisi memberikan hiburan dan infonnasi dengan beberapa macam program. Dalam membuat sebuah program televisi, terdapat tahapan­ tahapan pelaksanaan produksi, yaitu pra-produksi , produksi, dan pasca-produksi. Tahap pra-produksi merupakan tahapan yang sangat penting, karena pada tahap inilah cikal bakal sebuah tayangan televise terbentuk. Salah satu program acara televisi yang sedang banyak cligemari masyarakat adalah program talk show, karena program ini dapat memberikan hiburan dan informasi secara bersamaan. Program acara talk show "Kick Andy" merupakan talk show dengan jenis inspiratif yang bertujuan menginspirasi para penontonnya dengan menampilkan /ea/lire dan cuplikan cerita tentang narasumbemya. Dalam melakukan kegiatan magang pada l Agustus hingga 30 November 2011, pada program acara talk show "Kick Andy" sebagai Asisteo Produser, banyak fenomena-fenomena yang berhubuogan dcngan konsep-konsep jumali stik serta model komunikasi. Weastley-Mac/ean model menggambarkao proses pemilihao topik pada program "Kick Andy", dan Effect-to-cause model merupakan model produksi yang dapat menjelaskan proses pra-produksi yang dilakukan oleh tim "Kick Andy". Proses jumalistik telah diterapkan program "Kick Andy" dalam membuat tayangan yang menginspirasi. Rumus accuracy + balance = credibility juga menjacli panduan program "Kick Andy" dalam mcmberikan tayaogan yang berkualitas. / Television is an electronic mass media which provides and audiovisual at home. Television presents entertainment and news through different kinds of programs. There are several steps in the making of a television program, which are, preproduction , production and postproduction. The preproduction phase is the most important phase because within this phase a television program is fonned. Talk show is one of the television programs that attract many audiences because this program provides both entertainment and information cumulatively. "Kick Andy" talk show is an inspirational talk show; its purpose is to inspire the audience by showing features and a short clip that tells the story of a source/ guest speaker. During my internship at "Kick Andy" talk show from August 1st until the 301h November as an assistant producer, there are many phenomena that connect to journalistic concept and communication model. The Westley-Maclean model describes the topic program selection process in "Kick Andy" show, and the Effect­ to-Cause model is the model that explains the preproduction process done by the "Kick Andy"production team. The Kick Andy program applies the journalistic process in making an inspirational show.Accuracy + balance = credibility is a formula which has become a guide in "Kick Andy" program in creating a high quality show.
