Abstract

Penerapan pembelajaran online dianggap sebagai budaya baru bagi banyak sekolah di Indonesia, termasuk sekolah X. Penerapannya menimbulkan permasalahan baru bagi siswa dan guru karena belum pernah diuji dan dievaluasi, termasuk pada pembelajaran online di usia sekolah dasar. Solusi yang disajikan untuk mengatasi permasalahan di atas adalah dengan peran aktif guru mengkreasikan media dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran online, dimana guru merupakan pihak yang dapat mengelola dan menyesuaikan fungsi media dengan karakteristik dan kondisi siswa. Hal ini perlu didasari perspektif bahwa dirinya adalah pelayan Allah yang berkontribusi dalam bidang pendidikan, sehingga pelayanannya haruslah menjadi buah yang baik dalam diri dan sesama untuk persembahan kemuliaan Allah. Maka tujuan penulisan paper ini adalah mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam penggunaan media mengatasi masalah pembelajaran online siswa usia sekolah dasar dengan metodologi penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasilnya, guru dapat mengkreasikan media dengan menampilkan gambar konkret, menarik visualisasi siswa dengan permainan warna, alat bantu, animasi bergerak, pengemasan video dalam bentuk cerita, dan juga membuat kegiatan bervariasi, sehingga proses pembelajaran menjadi efektif, menarik, dan membawa pertumbuhan bagi siswanya. Maka, saran yang dapat diberikan terkait topik ini adalah guru dapat terus memperkaya diri dengan membaca literatur/ sumber pendukung mengenai media dan mencoba pengaplikasiannya, sebagai upaya mempersiapkan proses pembelajaran yang terencana dan efektif. / The application of online learning is considered a new culture for many schools in Indonesia, including school X. Its application creates new problems for students and teachers because it has never been tested and evaluated, including online learning at elementary school age. The solution presented to overcome the problems above is the active role of the teacher in creating media in the implementation of online learning, where the teacher is the party who can manage and adjust the function of the media to the characteristics and conditions of students. This needs to be based on the perspective that he is a servant of God who contributes in the field of education, so that his service must be a good fruit in himself and others for the offering of the glory of God. Therefore the purpose of writing this paper is to describe the role of the teacher in the use of media in overcoming online learning problems of elementary school aged students with descriptive qualitative research methodology. It resulted, the teacher can create media by displaying concrete images, attracting student visualizations with colors, tools, moving animation, packaging videos in the form of stories, and also making 2 varied activities, so that the learning process is effective, interesting, and brings growth to students. Therefore, the advice that can be given regarding this topic is that teachers can continue to enrich themselves by reading literature / supporting sources about media and trying their application, as an effort to prepare a planned and effective learning process.
