Abstract
Komunikasi merupakan salah satu hal penting dalam kehidupan manusia,baik dalam keluarga, masyarakat, ataupun dalam sebuah organisasi. Untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi yang baik, tentu tidak lepas dari bantuan karyawan yang bekerja di dalamnya. Salah satu cara agar karyawan dapat bekerja secara maksimal adalah dengan komunikasi yang terjalin di dalam organisasi itu sendiri sesuai dengan definisi yang diungkapkan oleh Goldhaber. Selain itu, dengan adanya saluran komunikasi yang baik di dalam sebuah organisasi, maka akan meningkatkan motivasi kinerja dari karyawan itu sendiri, sesuai dengan definisi yang diungkapan oleh Indrasafitri. Pada penelitian kali ini, akan dibahas mengenai bagaimana komunikasi organisasi yang diciptakan dealer Suzuki Gunung Sahari dalam memotivasi kinerja karyawannya. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara melakukan wawancara mendalam dan observasi dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa komunikasi organisasi yang ada di dalam dealer Suzuki Gunung Sahari positif, dengan cara berbagai pemenuhan kebutuhan, keikutsertaan karyawan dalam pengambilan keputusan, pemberian ide, kritik dan saran, dan tindakan musyawarah yang dilakukan jika ada masalah. Hal ini membuahkan hasil dengan kinerja karyawan yang baik dimana sedikit-nya turnover yang terjadi dan peningkatan penjualan yang terlihat setiap bulannya. Saran yang peneliti berikan kepada dealer Suzuki Gunung Sahari adalah dengan memberikan divisi khusus Public Relations agar dapat menangani masalah perusahaan baik itu internal ataupun eksternal./ Communication is one of the most important things in human’s life, wheter it is in the family, society, or in an organization. To achieve a good organization’s goal, one cannot forget the help of the employee who works there. One thing to make the employees can work maximally is with the communication run within the organization itself, this is in line with Goldhaber’s definition. Beside that, the existence of good communication channels increases the employees’ work motivation , according to Indrasafitri’s definition. This research will discuss about how communication in organization created by Suzuki Gunung Sahari dealer can motivate its employees way of work. The retrieval of data is done with interview and observation through qualitative and study case approach. The result of this research shows that communication in organization created by Suzuki Gunung Sahari dealer is positive, in a wat of fullfilment of needs, employees’ involvement in decision-making process, ideas giving, critics, comments, and a deliberation when a problem occurs. The fruit of this event is less turnover, good employees’ performance, and increasing of the sales every month. The writer’s suggestion is the for Suzuki Gunung Sahari dealer has to create a Public Relations division so it can work to handle company’s internal and external problems.
