Abstract
It is believed that to achieve the purpose of education, the role of collaboration plays an important role. That role of collaboration is more crucial at present during CoVid19 pandemic as the teacher cannot comprehensively ensure and maximize the students’ learning process. The collaboration that occurs in the community should be based on the transformative mutual relationship and the Trinity concept as Christian holds. Therefore, this paper attempts to offer ways for the English teacher, students, and parents to have an effective collaboration in the online English language teaching and overcome challenges when it is applied as well as find out the student’s response towards the collaboration. A qualitative descriptive research method is applied to gather data from the English teacher, the senior high students, and also parents. The result shows that there are three ways to have collaboration in online English classrooms: respecting one another, having regular communication, and setting a clear goal. The main challenge is the rigid system way of communication of the school. The researcher suggests the school community utilize the digital platform to enhance the communication between them. Besides that also involving parents and helping the students to keep engaged during the online class.
