Abstract

Based on the teaching practicum that the writer had, the students did not show the behaviour that in line with the school‟ vision which to guide the students to be the disciples. Therefore, the writer tried to implement assessment as the media to disciple the students. The implementation was not perfect. Thus, the writer did further research based on the literature review and data from practicum that aimed to see the significance and how to use it to disciple the students. It showed that assessment could help students to develop critical thinking, speaking skills, and help students to understand their identity in Christ. The implementation could be done by analyzing students‟ needs, implementing biblical Christian worldview in it and teaching process, give clear instructions, and also feedback. In the implementation, the teachers should ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit who worked within students‟ heart so that they wanted to be changed in the process of discipleship. Last of all, the writer recommended the Christian teachers to educate themselves about discipleship so that they can implement it in their class. Also, for the future researcher can create a study for a specific class and with longer period of observation.
