Abstract

Dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas, siswa memiliki perilaku yang beragam yang salah satunya disebabkan oleh cara berkomunikasi guru terhadap siswa. Tujuan penulisan proyek akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan cara berkomunikasi dengan siswa untuk membentuk perilaku positif dalam pembelajaran IPS kelas VIII. Penulisan proyek akhir ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif berdasarkan kajian literatur. Cara berkomunikasi guru merupakan salah satu faktor penyebab yang membuat siswa kurang tertarik dalam mata pelajaran IPS. Oleh karena itu guru harus mampu membangun relasi dengan siswa dan memiliki gaya berkomunikasi yang baik dan dapat menarik perhatian siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil kajian ini menunjukan bahwa untuk membentuk perilaku positif dalam pembelajaran IPS kelas VIII, guru harus bisa memiliki cara berkomunikasi yang baik agar pembelajaran dalam kelas dapat menjadi efektif dan tidak membosankan bagi siswa. Saran yang dapat diberikan dalam membangun relasi dan berkomunikasi dengan siswa, guru harus bisa menjadi seorang teladan yang baik serta menjadi in loco parentis dimana guru menjadi orang tua bagi siswa di sekolah. / In the learning process in the classroom, students have various behaviors, one of which is due to the way teachers communicate with students. The purpose of writing this final project is to determine the application of how to communicate with students to form positive behavior in social studies learning for grade VIII. Teacher communication is one of the factors that make students less interested in social studies subjects. Therefore the teacher must be able to build relationships with students and have a good communication style and be able to attract students' attention in the learning process. The results of this study indicate that to form positive behavior in class VIII social studies learning, teachers must be able to have a good way of communicating so that classroom learning can be effective and not boring for students. Suggestions that can be given in building relationships and communicating with students, teachers must be able to be a good role model and become an in loco parentis where teachers become parents to students at school.
