The role of arbitration, after the law of the Republic of Indonesia number 30 year 1999 concerning Arbitrastion and Alternative Dispute Resolution was promulgated is very important. Arbitrastion has been the preferred method of disputes resolution in many trades, industries, and in commerce. Insurance and banking usually use arbitration as their normal method of dispute resolution. Arbitration is very fleksible procedure and can be adapted to suit the particular dispute. Because of its fleksible it can and should be cheaper and quiker than going to court. In most cases, arbitration is adapted because the parties cannot agree on court proceedings. Arbitration is a process, by agreement parties it a contact submit their differences or disputes to the consideration and decision of one or more independent persons. Although arbitration is a private procedures, but it the force of law and generally, award can be enforced in the courts just as the judgement of the courts.
