Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh environmental performance terhadap economic performance, dan pengaruh environmental disclosure terhadap economic performance. Environmental performance diukur menggunakan Program Penilaian Peringkat Kinerja perusahaan dalam pengelolaan lingkungan hidup (PROPER). Pengungkapan CSR diukur menggunakan indeks Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dan kinerja finansial diukur menggunakan Return saham tahunan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling, yaitu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang manufaktur yang go public dan terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dan menerbitkan laporan keuangan pada tahun 2009-2011 serta telah mengikuti Program Penilaian Peringkat Kinerja Perusahaan (PROPER).jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 48 sampel. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian untuk hipotesis pertama menunjukkan bahwa environmental performance tidak berpengaruh terhadap economic performance. Hasil penelitian untuk hipotesis kedua menunjukkan bahwa environmental disclosure tidak berpengaruh terhadap economic performance.
