Abstract
Peneliti melakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi employee relations yang dilakukan Manager Operasional Hotel Grand Anugerah Lampung untuk menciptakan loyalitas karyawannya. Strategi ini juga dilakukan karena mereka memiliki kesadaran akan pentingnya dan banyaknya manfaat yang akan didapat. Latar belakang Peneliti melakukan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah loyalitas karyawan merupakan hal yang penting dicapai bagi hotel yang berusia muda, dan bagaimana cara yang dilakukan untuk mencapainya. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana strategi employee relations yang dilakukan oleh Hotel Grand Anugerah Lampung dalam menciptakan loyalitas karyawannya. Terdapat 2 teori yang digunakan yaitu Social Exchange Theory dan Teori Kebutuhan. Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, teknik kepustakaan, juga wawancara mendalam kepada key informant (Manager Operasional dan Kepala HRD) dan informant (Sales Marketing dan Laundry Officer). Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat 9 strategi employee relations yang dilakukan, diantaranya memberikan gaji dan THR yang sesuai, memberikan jaminan / asuransi kerja, memperlakukan karyawan dengan adil, mengadakan gathering, training, dan briefing, merayakan ulang tahun perusahaan, memberikan penghargaan, dan memberikan kesempatan pada karyawan untuk naik jabatan. Strategi-strategi tersebut sukses menciptakan loyalitas karyawan terhadap perusahaan. / Researcher conducted this study to determine how the employee relations strategies that undertaken by Operational Manager Grand Anugerah Lampung Hotel in creating employees loyalty, considering this hotel is a new comer. These strategies are also done because Grand Anugerah Lampung Hotel have the awareness of the importance and many benefits to be gained. The background of this study is to determine whether the employee loyalty is important to achieved for the hotel in young age, and how’s the way to achieve it. The statement of the problem in this research is how the strategy to construct employee loyalty of Grand Anugerah Lampung Hotel. In this study, the theories that the writer use are Social Exchange Theory and Hierarchy of Needs. The writer use case study research methodology with qualitative approach. The data was collected by observation, technical literature, and also in-depth interview with key informant (Operational Manager and HRD Chief) and informant (Sales Marketing and Laundry Officer). The writer conclusion of the research findings is that there are 9 employee relations strategies construct employee loyalty of Grand Anugerah Lampung Hotel. They are give an appropriate salary, THR, and insurance, treat the employees fairly, conduct gathering, training, and briefing, celebrate hotel anniversary, give the award, and finally give chance to be promoted. These employee relations strategies are successful creating employee loyalty to the company.
