Abstract

Pada penelitian yang telah dilakukan, peneliti mengamati bahwa masalah yang terjadi di kelas adalah rendahnya hasil belajar pada pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Rendahnya hasil belajar yang terjadi dilapangan dipengaruhi oleh metode pembelajaran yang monoton. Penelitian yang dilakukan untuk dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa adalah dengan menggunakan media gambar yang diaplikasikan pada topik daur hidup hewan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Kemmis dan Taggart. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari tanggal 2-20 Oktober 2015. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas IV dan dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari lembar tes siswa, observasi checklist guru pamong, kuesioner siswa, dan jurnal refleksi peneliti. Instrumen yang digunakan telah divalidasi oleh guru pamong dan wakil kurikulum sekolah. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan menyatakan bahwa penggunaan media gambar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada topik daur hidup hewan. Perhitungan hasil penelitian dilihat berdasarkan standar nilai yang telah ditentukan oleh sekolah, yaitu 75./On the research that has been done, researchers observed that the problem that occurs in the classroom is the low learning results on natural science lessons. Low learning results that occur in field is influenced by the learning methods that monotonous. The research carried out to be able to improve the results of student learning is by using media pictures that applied on the topic of animal life cycle. The research method used in this research is the Class Action Research Kemmis and Taggart model. The study was conducted from the date 2-20 October 2015. This research was carried out on students in grade 4 and conducted as many as two cycle. The instrument used in this research consists of the test sheet students, teachers pamong checklist observation of the questionnaire students, and the journal of reflection researchers. The instrument used has been validated by teachers pamong and vice school curriculum. Based on the research that has been done by stating that the use of media pictures can improve the results of the study of grade 4 students on the topic of animal life cycle. The calculation of the results of research seen based on the value of the standard that has been determined by the school principal, namely 75.
