Abstract

Disiplin merupakan salah satu aspek yang penting dalam dunia pendidikan. Disiplin menjadi salah satu masalah yang sering dihadapi oleh guru ketika berada di kelas. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan di sekolah X Jakarta, peneliti menemukan adanya masalah disiplin pada siswa kelas VI selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Masalah yang sering muncul ketika pembelajaran berlangsung seperti tidak menjalankan prosedur kelas, menyela pembicaraan guru dan teman, bersikap tidak sopan terhadap guru dan teman, melakukan tawar�menawar ketika guru memberikan latihan soal. Akibatnya, kelas menjadi tidak efektif untuk belajar, sehingga banyak waktu yang terbuang hanya untuk menenangkan siswa. Oleh karena itu peneliti menggunakan prosedur kelas sebagai tindakan untuk mengatasi masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa melalui penerapan prosedur kelas dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan prosedur kelas yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek yang diambil adalah siswa kelas VI sekolah dasar X yang berlokasi di Jakarta dengan jumlah 6 orang siswa, terdiri atas 2 siswi dan 4 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari tanggal 8 Oktober-26 November 2015. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah rubrik kegiatan belajar mengajar, lembar observasi check list, kuesioner siswa, dan jurnal refleksi. Data yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif dan dibantu oleh data statistik deskriptif sederhana. Penelitian dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga siklus. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan prosedur kelas dapat meningkatkan disiplin siswa kelas VI sekolah dasar X Jakarta. Prosedur kelas yang efektif dilakukan dengan cara menjelaskan prosedur kelas, mengingatkan secara berulang-ulang, menerapkan prosedur kelas secara konsisten, dan mempertegas prosedur kelas dengan memberikan konsekuensi./Discipline is one of the important aspects in education world. Discipline becomes one of the most problems faced by teachers. Based on this observe in X School Jakarta, the researcher found that there were discipline problems in students grade VI during the learning process. The problems that frequently happen in learning process such as not implement the class procedure, interrupt teacher or peers conversation, act impolitely towards teachers and friends, bargaining whenever teacher gives the exercise. As a result, the class becomes no longer effective to learn, so there are so many time wasted to calm the students. Therefore the researcher used class procedure as an act to cope with the problems. This research is aiming to enhance students’ discipline and to know how the effective application of procedure to enhance students’ discipline. This research was done by using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. The subjects taken are students grade VI elementary school located in Jakarta with 6 students, who are 2 females and 4 males. This research was done between 8th of October until 26th of November 2015. The instrument used is teaching and learning activity rubric, check list observation form, and journal reflection. The data analysed by using quantitative analysis technique and helped by the simple descriptive statistic data. This research was held in three cycles. Based on this research, conclude that the application of pocedure can enhance the discipline of students in grade VI elementary school Jakarta. An effective procedure was done by explaining procedure, reminding them continuously, applying procedure consistently, and emphasizing the procedure by giving consequences.
