Abstract

Pembelajaran Physical Education siswa kelas XI IPS II SMA XYZ Cikarang ditemukan kurang disiplin dalam hal ketepatan waktu datang ke kelas, perhatian kepada guru ketika menyampaikan materi, dan berkata-kata selama pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menggunakan peraturan kelas untuk meningkatkan disiplin siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat apakah penerapan peraturan kelas dapat meningkatkan disiplin siswa dan langkah�langkah penerapan peraturan kelas untuk meningkatkan disiplin siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Siklus dilaksanakan pada 20 Oktober 2015 dan 3 November 2015 di sekolah SMA XYZ Cikarang. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI IPS II dengan jumlah siswa 13 orang. Bentuk pengumpulan data yang dipakai adalah lembar observasi check list guru mentor, kuesioner siswa, jurnal refleksi peneliti, dan lembar feedback guru mentor. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa penerapan peraturan kelas dapat meningkatkan disiplin siswa kelas XI IPS II SMA XYZ Cikarang dengan langkah-langkah penerapan peraturan yaitu:1) mendeskripsikan dan mendemonstrasikan contoh perilaku yang diinginkan, 2) memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mempraktikkan peraturan, 3)memberikan feedback kepada siswa, 4) menuliskan dan menempelkan peraturan yang telah dibuat./It was found that the Physical Education class for grade XI Social Studies II SMA XYZ Cikarang was lack of discipline in term of time, students’ attention to teacher, and speaking manner. Because of that, the researcher used classroom rules to increase students’ discipline. The purposes of this research were to found out whether the implementation of classroom rules could increase students’ discipline and the methods in implementing classroom rules to increase students’ discipline. The method of the research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) by Kemmis and McTaggart which was done in two cycles. The cycles was done from October 20, 2015 to November 3, 2015 in SMA XYZ Cikarang. The subject of the research were the students of XI Social Studies II that had 13 students in class. The researcher used mentor’s checklist observation form, students’ questionnaire, researcher’s reflection journal, and mentor’s feedback form to gather the data. The data was analyzed in qualitative description. The result showed that the implementation of classroom rules could increase students grade XI Social Studies II SMA XYZ Cikarang’s discipline with the steps of implementation were: 1) describe and demonstrate the example of the attitude that the teacher wanted, 2) give chance for the students to do the rules, 3) give feedback to students, 4) write and post the rules in class.
