Abstract

Keterampilan menulis merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang penting dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Keterampilan menulis sifatnya berkesinambungan sejak anak berada dijenjang TK dan dapat menjadi bekal belajar menulis dijenjang belajar berikutnya. Mengajarkan anak menulis tentunya tidak mudah, sering mengalami berbagai kesulitan. Seperti penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti pada siswa kelas 2 di Lampung, yaitu adanya siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam mengemukakan pikiran atau perasaan, menggunakan huruf kapital, tanda baca, dan membuat kalimat dengan menggunakan subjek dan predikat pada saat belajar menulis kalimat dalam pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan upaya untuk dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis permulaan dalam kalimat melalui penerapan metode Drill. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis permulaan pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesiakelas II SD di Lampung. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu lembar tes, lembar observasi yang diisi oleh guru mentor,lembar refleksi (catatan harian) dan lembarwawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus pertama 83,33% siswa mencapai nilai KKM. Selanjutnya pada siklus kedua mengalami peningkatan yang baik sekali, yaitu 100% siswa mencapai nilai KKM. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode Drill dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis permulaan dalam kalimat pada pelajaran bahasa Indonesia./Writing skills is one of the important skills in learning Indonesian. Writing skills is continuous since the child is in kindergarten and can be a provision to learn to write at the next level of learning. Teaching children to write is certainly not easy, often experience various difficulties. As the research done by the researcher on the 2nd graders in Lampung, there are students who have difficulty in expressing their thoughts or feelings, using capital letters, punctuation, and making sentences by using subject and predicate when learning to write sentences in Indonesian lesson. Therefore, the researcher makes an effort to improve the writing skill of the beginning in sentence through the application of Drill method. The purpose of this study is to improve the skills of writing the beginning of the second grade of Indonesian language in primary school in Lampung. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) model Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The data collection instruments used in this research are test sheets, observation sheets filled by mentor teacher, reflection sheet (daily diary) and interviewer. The results showed that in the first cycle 83.33% of students achieved KKM scores. Furthermore, in the second cycle experienced a very good improvement, that is 100% of students reach the KKM value. So it can be concluded that the application of Drill method can improve the skills of writing the beginning of the sentence in the Indonesian language lesson.
