Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi prasiklus yang dilakukan selama penelitian, peneliti menemukan adanya permasalahan terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini kemudian menggunakan model induktif kata bergambar sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Keberlanjutan penelitian ini dengan diadakannya siklus I dan siklus II, bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model induktif kata bergambar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Siklus dilakukan pada tanggal 22 September 2016 dan 26 September 2016. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IIIA yang terdiri dari 22 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa, tes, lembar observasi guru wali kelas, jurnal refleksi harian, angket siswa, observasi guru mentor dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif sederhanana . Penelitian ini menyimpulkan penerapan model induktif kata bergambar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas IIIA pada pelajaran bahasa Indonesia topik kalimat perintah dengan cara: pengenalan kata bergambar, indentifikasi kata bergambar, review kata bergambar dan menusun kata dan kalimat./According to the result of the pre-cycle observation that was done during the research time, the researcher found that there is a problem of students’ cognitive learning result in the subject of Bahasa Indonesia. This research used the inductive model of picturing word as the way to solve that problem. And then, this research was continued to the cycle-I and cycle-II to know how the model of picturing words inductive can increase students’ cognitive learning result The method that was used in this research is the method of Class Action Research (CAR) with the model of Kemmis and McTaggart that was done is two cycles. Cycles were done in September 22nd 201 and September 26th, 2016. The subject of this research is students grade IIIA with the total number of students is 15. The data was collected by using some instruments such as homeroom observation sheet, daily reflection journal, students questionnaire, teacher mentor observation and interview. The analysis that was used is descriptive. This research has a conclusion that the implementation of the inductive model of picturing words can increase students’ cognitive learning result grade IIIA in the subject of Bahasa Indonesia in the topic of the imperative sentence through some steps: introducing picturing words, doing the identification of picturing words, reviewing picturing words and arranging the words and sentences.
