Abstract

Manusia merupakan gambar rupa Allah yang membutuhkan persekutuan. Di dunia pendidikan siswa juga adalah makhluk sosial, siswa yang kurang mengerti membutuhkan bantuan teman yang lebih mengerti agar dapat belajar dengan efektif. Untuk belajar dengan efektif, dibutuhkan keaktifan siswa untuk berpartisipasi dalam pembelajaran. Fakta bahwa siswa tidak berpartisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran, penelitian ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Student Teams Achievement-Divisions (STAD). Penelitian dilaksanakan disalah satu SMP “LMN” di Jati Agung pada kelas 7 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 18 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, questionnaire, refleksi, umpan balik mentor, dan dokumentasi. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian diolah dengan memberikan penjelasan secara deskriptif.Dari hasil penelitian dapat ditemukan bahwa penggunaan STAD dalam pembelajaran Matematika untuk siswa kelas 7 dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa dari 69,62% menjadi 78,14%. Pembelajaran dalam kelompok yang heterogen membuat siswa terdorong untuk aktif dan saling membantu sebagai tanggung jawab siswa dalam menjalankan kehendak Allah. / Humans are the image bearers of God, who certainly need a relationship. As well as in the educational world, students are also social beings. Students who are less able really need help from others who are more able, so that they can learn in an effective way. Student’s activeness is needed for learning in an effective way. The reality is that the students did not participate well in learning activities, this research is held to increase their participation toward learning activities in the classroom. The method that used in this research is STAD (Student Teams Achievement-Divisions) method The research is held in “LMN” Junior High School in Jati Agung for grade 7 (seven) of total 18 students. This writing method that used is classroom action research (CAR). The data collection techniques that used were observation form, questionnaires, reflection, mentor’s feedback form, and documentations. The collected data would be explained in a descriptive way. From the result, it can be concluded that the usage of STAD in Mathematic subject for students of grade 7 is able to increase the students activeness from 69,62 to 78,14%. Learning in heterogeny group could motivate students to be more active and help each other as their responsibility in applying God’s will in the school environment.
