Abstract

Universitas Pelita Harapan merupakan salah satu universitas swasta yang berada di kawasan Tangerang, dimana angka kemunculan universitas di kawasan ini terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Citra memegang peranan yang sangat penting bagi kelangsungan hidup sebuah perusahaan, terutama dalam menghadapi persaingan. Universitas Pelita Harapan telah merancang dan menjalankan program untuk melakukan pencitraan yang ditujukan kepada targetnya yaitu siswa kelas 12, dan salah satunya adalah SMA Kristen Kanaan Tangerang. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana citra Universitas Pelita Harapan menurut siswa kelas 12 SMA Kristen Kanaan Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner yang disebar kepada 63 orang responden dengan menggunakan teori The Corporate Image Jigsaw. Selain itu, Peneliti juga menggunakan data sekunder untuk melengkapi data yang dibutuhkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa citra Universitas Pelita Harapan menurut siswa kelas 12 SMA Kristen Kanaan Tangerang positif. / Pelita Harapan Univeristy is one of the universities in Tangerang, whereas the emerge number of university there is increasing each year. Image holds a very important role for the survival of a company, especially in dealing with competitors. Pelita Harapan University has designed and been running certain program for building a good image particularly for grade 12 students, and one of them is Kanaan Christian High School Tangerang. The problem statement of the research is How is the image of Pelita Harapan Univeristy in grade 12 students of Kanaan Christian High School Tangerang's view. The research uses descriptive survey method with quantitative approach. The data collection is done by giving questionnaire to 63 respondents using the Corporate Image Jigsaw theory. Furthermore, the researcher also uses secondary data for completing the data needed. The result of the research shows that the image of Pelita Harapan University in grade 12 students of Kanaan Christian High School Tangerang's view is positive.
