Abstract
Media sosial di era perkembagan teknologi ini telah menjadi bagian hidup bagi setiap orang. Dengan jumlah pengguna yang mencapai setengah dari populasi penduduk bumi, power yang dimiliki oleh media sosial sangatlah besar. Hal ini juga turut dirasakan oleh perusahaan-perusahaan besar, salah satunya Perusahaan Wilmar International, khususnya pada Departemen Wilmar Learning Center. WLC menggunakan Instagram sebagai salah satu sarana mereka dalam mempublikasikan keberadaan departemennya.
Departemen WLC adalah departemen yang bergerak dalam bidang edukasi karyawan dengan memberikan training dan konten edukatif melalui Instagram @sahabat_wlc. Di era perkembangan teknologi, content development merupakan kegiatan yang perlu untuk dilakukan. Kegiatan ini sejalan dengan tujuan utama Departemen WLC, yaitu untuk mengedukasi karyawan Wilmar dengan konten-konten yang positif dan edukatif. Selain konten yang bersifat edukatif, akun @sahabat_wlc juga menggunakan konten gamification untuk meningkatkan engagement dari para pengikut.
Hasil dari laporan magang menunjukkan bahwa content development dan konten gamification adalah kegiatan yang perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan engagement yang terjadi pada akun media sosial perusahaan. Hal ini juga terbukti dari jumlah engagement yang didapatkan dari akun @sahabat_wlc, baik dari segi likes, comment dan followers./ Social media in this era has become a part of life for everyone. With the number of users that almost half of the world's population, the impact of social media is so powerful. Many large companies also felt this impact, one of them is the Wilmar International Company, particularly in the Wilmar Learning Center Department. WLC uses Instagram as one of their tool to publish the existence of their department.
The WLC department is a department which aim to educate the employee by providing them training and educational content through Instagram account @sahabat_wlc. In this era, content development is an activity that needs to be done. This activity is in line with the main objective of the WLC Department, which is to educate Wilmar employees with positive and educational content. Besides the educational content, @sahabat_wlc account also uses gamification content to increase engagement from their followers.
The results of the internship report show that content development and gamification are activities that need to be done to increase engagement that occurs on corporate social media accounts. This is also proven by the number of the engagements that has been obtained from the @sahabat_wlc account, in terms of likes, comments, and followers.
