Abstract
Banyak metode pembelajaran yang sering digunakan oleh guru di dalam kelas. Salah satu metode yang sering digunakan oleh guru dalam mengajar adalah presentasi kelompok. Namun terkadang guru tidak menyadari apakah metode presentasi kelompok ini cukup efektif bila digunakan untuk suatu pembelajaran secara khusus pada mata pelajaran konten seperti Geografi. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan presentasi kelompok sebagai metode yang di teliti.Dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan presentasi kelompok di dalam kelas secara efektif agar dapat membantu siswa dalam mempelajari Geografi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah Studi Kasus. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VII.4 di sebuah sekolah Kristen di daerah Lippo Karawaci. Instrumen yang digunakan peneliti adalah Peer Assessment, Kuesioner, dan Jurnal Refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode presentasi kelompok yang efektif ini mampu membantu siswa untuk lebih mudah mempelajari Geografi, serta mampu membuat siswa untuk lebih fokus dalam mengikuti pelajaran Geografi dan lebih bertanggung jawab dalam mengerjakan kewajibannya. Hal ini dapat terlihat melalui tiga instrumen yang peneliti lampirkan.

There are many methods that the teacher often use in the classroom. one of the method that often used by the teacher in teacing process is group presentation. Sometimes the teacher did not realized weather this group presentation method is effective enough to be use for spesific content subject, like Geography. In this research, the researcher use group presentation as the methods that are used. In order to know how the application of group presentation in class effectively so it help the students in learning Geography. The method of research that is used by the researcher is case study. This research is held on class VII.4 in a Christian School around Lippo Karawaci, Tangerang. The Instruments that are used by the reseacher are Peer Assessment, Questionnaire, and Reflection Journal. According to the result of this research, it conclude that effective group presentation is able to help the students to easily learn Geography, it also help the students to focused in learning Geography and become more responsible in doing his or her responsibility. This can be seen through the three instruments that the researcher attached.
