Abstract

Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan di kelas XI IPS di sebuah Sekolah Menengah Atas Kristen di Tangerang-Banten, serta hasil diskusi dengan wali kelas, peneliti menemukan bahwa sebagian besar siswa tidak terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran terutama dalam pelajaran ekonomi. Peneliti menggunakan Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT) sebagai solusi dari permasalahan ini. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT terhadap keaktifan siswa kelas XI IPS dalam mata pelajaran ekonomi. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif kuasi eksperimen dengan jenis time series design tipe equivalent time series. Penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 10 November – 13 November 2015 pada 24 siswa dengan tiga kali perlakuan penerapan TGT. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah kuisioner dan didukung oleh wawancara siswa dan observasi check list oleh guru mentor dan teman sejawat terhadap penerapan TGT di dalam kelas. Analisis yang digunakan untuk mengolah data dalam penelitian ini adalah uji Wilcoxon Sign Ranks Test menggunakanStatistical Product and Service Solution(SPSS) versi 20 dan uji N-gainmenggunakan Microsoft Excel . Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dapat berpengaruh pada keaktifan belajar siswa selama pembelajaran. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh hasil uji wilcoxon signed ranks test dengan signifikasnsi perlakuan 1 sebesar 0,696, perlakuan 2 sebesar 0,007 dan perlakuan 3 sebesar 0,015 dan melihat pengaruh pengulangan perlakuan menggunakan N-gaindi mana N-gain 1 kategori rendah 0,3428), N-gain 2 kategori rendah (0,2) dan N-gain 3 kategori tinggi (0,823011) dan hasil uji wilcoxon signed ranks test dengan signifikansi ≤ 0,05 terhdap nilai N-gain pada N-gain 1 dan N-gain 2 senilai 0,354 dan N-gain2 dan N-gain 3 senilai 0,951. / Based on the observations made in class XI IPS in a Christian High School in Tangerang, as well as discussions with the class teacher, the researchers found that most students are not actively involved in learning, especially in economics lesson. Researchers used type of Cooperative Learning type Team Games Tournament (TGT) as the solution of this problem. Therefore, this study aims to see what is the effects of cooperative learning of TGT to the activity of students of class XI IPS in economic subjects. The methodology used in this research is quantitative research with the kind of quasi-experimental, equivalent time series design. The study was conducted on November 10 to November 13, 2015 at 24 students with three treatment application of TGT. Methods of data collection of this study was supported by a questionnaire and interview students and observation check list by mentor teachers and peers on the application of TGT in the classroom. The analysis used to process the data in this study is Wilcoxon Sign Ranks Test using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 20 and N-gain test using Microsoft Excel. The study states that the cooperative learning model TGT can affect students' learning activeness during learning. This is shown by the test results Wilcoxon signed ranks test with treatment signifikasnsi 1 of 0.696, 0.007 and treatment 2 treatment 3 at 0,015 and see the effect of the repetition of the treatment using Ngain-gain where N 1 category of low 0.3428), N- gain 2 lower categories (0.2) and N-gain high category 3 (0.823011) and test results Wilcoxon signed ranks test with significance ≤ 0.05 terhdap N-gain values at N-1 and N gain-gain 2 worth gain 0.354 and N-2 and N-3 gain worth 0.951.
