Abstract
Sekolah sebagai lembaga pendidikan memiliki tanggungjawab mengajarkan nilainilai pada seluruh anggota sekolah. Dalam mengajarkan nilai- nilai tersebut salah satunya dengan memberikan peraturan dan tata tertib. Kondisi ideal yang diinginkan adalah siswa dapat menerapkan nilai tersebut dengan mematuhi peraturan, namun siswa banyak melakukan pelanggaran pada peraturan atau tata tertib sekolah yang berakibat pada ketidakdisiplinan. Untuk pelanggaran tersebut, siswa mendapat sanksi sebagai konsekuensi atas perbuatannya. Bulan Agustus 2015, peneliti melakukan praktik mengajar lapangan selama empat bulan di SMA F, Tangerang. SMA F menerapkan detention sebagai salah satu sanksi dengan bentuk penahanan pada siswa yang melanggar peraturan. Saat observasi kelas detention, peneliti menemukan bahwa prosedur detention masih belum berjalan dengan maksimal dan berakibat pada siswa tidak reflektif terhadap kesalahannya. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, peneliti melakukan penelitian kualitatif yaitu studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah detention membentuk pribadi reflektif siswa kelas XI dan proses detention membentuk pribadi reflektif pada siswa kelas XI di SMA F. Instrumen yang digunakan peneliti untuk mengumpulkan data dan informasi adalah lembar panduan wawancara, lembar panduan observasi, dan data dokumentasi sekolah yaitu data absensidetention, hasil refleksi siswa, dandata buku panduan siswa. Dari data tersebut yang sudah dianalisis, peneliti menarik dua kesimpulan yaitu bahwa yang pertama, detention belum membentuk pribadi reflektif pada siswa kelas XI secara maksimal. Kesimpulan yang ke dua adalah proses pelaksanaan detention meliputi pemberian slip detention, penandatanganan slip detention, pengumpulan slip detention, menulis refleksi di kelas detention dan pengumpulan refleksi untuk dievaluasi oleh guru.

School as an institution have a responsibility to teach values to the entire membership of the school. In teaching the values one of the tools is by providing rules and regulations. The ideal condition is students can apply these values to comply with regulations, but in fact students do fouls on the school rules or regulations that result in indiscipline. For these violations, the student is sanctioned as a consequence of his or her actions. In August 2015, the researchers conducted a teaching practice field for four months at SMA F, Tangerang. SMA F apply detention as a form sanctions on students who violate the rules. When observeing detention classroom , researchers found that the detention procedure is still not running up maximum and it shown through student that not reflective of the fault. Based on these problems, researchers conducted qualitative research case study. This research was conducted in order to determine whether the detention form a reflective personal class XI and detention process of forming personal reflective class XI student in high school researchers F. The instrument used to collect data and information is a guide sheet interviews, observation guide sheet, and the data documentation namely school attendance data detention, the results of student reflection, and a student guide book data. From the data that has been analyzed, the researchers draw two conclusions, namely that the first, detention has not formed a personal reflective class XI student maximum. Second conclusion is the implementation process includes providing detention detention slip, slip the signing of detention, detention slip collection, writing reflections in the class detention and collection of reflections to be evaluated by the teacher.
