Abstract

Gaya mengajar guru adalah salah satu penentu meningkatnya prestasi belajar siswa. Siswa membutuhkan guru untuk mengerti apa yang penting untuk dipelajari. Akan tetapi maraknya perkembangan teknologi memberikan dampak pada sumber pengetahuan siswa yang semakin tidak banyak bergantung kepada guru sebagai sumber utama pembelajaran. Dengan demikian prestasi siswa meningkat tidak selalu bergantung pada pembelajaran di kelas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara gaya mengajar guru dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas X secara kognitif pada level pemahaman Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen soal tes dan kuesioner dalam mengumpulkan data serta analisis statistika data yang memberikan hasil bahwa terdapat hubungan antara gaya mengajar guru dan prestasi belajar siswa. Dengan demikian dapat diketahui bahwa pentingnya peran guru pada masa kini tetaplah ada dengan adanya hubungan antara gaya mengajar guru dan prestasi belajar siswa. / Teacher’s teaching style is one of the determinants of student’s learning achievement. Students need teacher to understand what are the important things to be studied. However, the development of technology give impact on how the student’s learning the source which is not depend on the teacher as the core source anymore. Therefore, the achievement of student’s learning achievement is not always depend on the learning process in the class. Base on that, this research was commenced on objective to observe if there is anyconnection between teachers’s teaching style and student’s learning achievement cognitively in the understanding level. This research utililized quantitative approach using test question instrument and questionaires in collecting the data, thenanalyzes the data statistically to provide the result that presenting the connection of research concludes that the importance of teachers’s role nowadays is still exist by knowing that there is a relation between teacher’s teaching style and student’s learning achievement.
