Abstract
Pengguna second account memiliki dua akun yang digunakan untuk mempresentasikan diri yang sebenarnya sementara akun pertama adalah akun yang menampilkan image diri ideal yang ingin mereka bangun. Jadi orang memiliki second account sebagai upaya untuk mengekspresikan dirinya. Akun yang lebih menonjolkan citra diri ini identik dengan foto-foto atau video yangdi unggah di media sosial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku pengguna second account Instagram. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan teori pengungkapan diri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan wawancara dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa gambaran perilaku pengguna second account Instagram biasanya seseorang memiliki second account adalah sebagai ajang untuk mengekspresikan diri. Hal tersebut menjadikan akun tersebut tempat mereka berkreasi, spam dan menggungah apapun yang akan mereka unggah, dan main account menjadi branding untuk diri sendiri bahkan seperti topeng bagi yang tidak mengenal / The second account user has two accounts that are used to present their real self while the first account is an account that displays the ideal self-image they want to build. So people have a second account as an attempt to express themselves. This account, which has a more self-identity image, is identical to the photos or videos uploaded on social media. The purpose of this study is to describe the behavior of the second Instagram account user. This study uses a qualitative approach and self- disclosure theory. The method used in this research is interview and observation. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be shown that the behavior of the second Instagram account user is usually someone having a second account as a place to express themselves. This makes the account a place for them to create, spam and upload whatever they upload, and the main account becomes branding for themselves even as a mask for those who don't know.
