This internship report explains how PT. Lautan Prima Nusantara as a construction company aimed to expand their market to penetrate foreign markets, in this case, The Philippines. The analysis will use the foreign market entry strategy method by looking up the Strength-Weakness-Opportunities-Threats (SWOT) Matrix including Internal and External Factors Evaluation (IFE and EFE). The intern student will analyze how the company utilizes Strength, which is focused on the communication within its connections and clients, to help mitigate the potential Threats in the foreign market. This main Strength will hopefully help PT. Lautan Prima Nusantara to overcome the Weakness known and help magnify the Opportunities. The intern student will also observe 3 types of services that PT. Lautan Prima Nusantara provides which are as a contractor, as a material supplier, and as a heavy equipment lender. The intern student will be supervised along the internship period to observe the sites and both previous and ongoing projects.
