Abstract
The Scholarship Department of Pelita Harapan University is a division which manages and is responsible in handling the process of scholarship given to applicants. Furthermore, this division observes the development of student grades in order to decide whether students will be given scholarship extension or not. To overcome these tasks efficiently and effectively, it has to have a system that can support the processing and documentation of applicant’s scholarship achievements. The purpose of this field work is to make a system that is able to help the process of scholarship by categorizing applicants into three types of scholarship and to evaluate applicant’s grades throughout their study program in order to assess their extension scholarship status per semester. This system includes the creation of database and application program to facilitate storing, calculating, and obtaining data in an easier way. The development of this system uses stages of System Life Cycle approach. This system produces database, forms, reports, and other application program that is capable to fulfill user’s requirement and to provide easier way to access data.
