Berita adalah proses terus menerus yang diterapkan dalam masyarakat manusia selama berabad-abad. Terkini Televisi telah menjadi sumber berita utama serta berupa media yang terbaik. Makalah ini menampilkan berbagai konsep dan definisi yang diterapkan pada lingkungan kerja didalam bidang Komunikasi dan Jurnalistik, seperti komunikasi organisasi, sifat media massa dan struktur proses produksi berita; terutama pada Departemen News Gathering.Tujuan dari penulis untuk magang di iNews Channel adalah mempelajari proses produksi berita, terutama dalam Departemen News Gathering adalah untuk mendalami pentingnya konsep komunikasi organisasi yang diterapkan dan teknologi yang terkait konsep tersebut, proses kordinasi team peliputan dan juga proses liputan. Penulis ingin mengetahui proses News Gathering dan pengaruhnya kepada keseluruhan tenaga kerja iNews Channel. Sebab adanya tiga proses inti dalam proses produksi, yaitu: Liputan, Redaksi, dan juga Penyiaran. Tiga tahap penting ini menentukan dan membentuk konten yang akan di saksikan oleh khalayak/ Pemagang menyimpulkan bahwa hampir semua konsep dan definisi oleh berbagai ahli ilmu komunikasi mengenai aspek-aspek komunikasi massa dan penyiaran, telah diterapkan di dalam lingkungan kerja iNews. Terutama pada konsep komunikasi organisasi dimana pegawai saling berbagi informasi, dan mencapai kordinasi. Seterusnya, pemagang mengasih saran pada HRD iNews untuk lebih melibatkan pemagang dan aktifitas-aktifitasnya pada lingkungan pekerjaan./News has been constantly implemented and desired in human society for centuries. Today, Television is the primary source of news and the most prominent form of media. This paper will feature Communications concepts which are highly applicable in news and media working environments, such as organizational communications, behavior of mass communication, and structure of producing News; particularly News Gathering Department. The purpose of the author interning at iNews Channel News Gathering Department is to understand the importance of organizational communication concepts and technologies that facilitate them, organizing reportage teams and conducting reports in the field, and how News Gathering Department impacts the entirety of the workforce. iNews Station produces news stories based on three core processes in producing news content: News Gathering, Editing, and Producing or Broadcasting, which defines what creates the News that people see on their televisions. Intern concludes that almost all concepts and definitions by experts regarding the various aspects of News Gathering Department and iNews Station as a media for television news, are a match. Particularly Organizational Concepts such as employees sharing information and expressing feelings to ultimately achieve coordinated action. Intern suggests that iNews HRD create more involvement for interns in the workplace.
