Abstract

Faktor makro ekonomi Indonesia yang menjanjikan mengundang baik perusahaan multinasional maupun lokal untuk berinvestasi salah satunya di sektor barang konsumsi. Hal ini berakibat semakin tingginya kompetisi di pasar untuk memenangkan hati konsumen yang beranekaragam dari sisi personal value yang dianut berupa Internal Value, External Value, dan Interpersonal Value. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan signifikan dalam purchase satisfaction dan behavioural intention oleh personal value serta efek moderasi sales promotion untuk 3 jenis produk Unilever yaitu shampo, pelembut pakaian, dan kecap. Penelitian ini menggunakan sumber data primer yang dikumpulkan dengan cara menyebar kuisioner secara acak dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan dalam purchase satisfaction dan behavioural intention oleh personal value untuk 3 jenis produk yang diteliti. Selain itu, ditemukan pula efek moderasi sales promotion terhadap personal value pada penelitian ini
