Abstract

Star Grooming adalah salah satu salon hewan yang biasanya melakukan pemesanan melalui telepon atau langsung ke salon tersebut. Star Grooming ingin mengubah penggunaan paper-based menjadi terkomputerisasi dalam membantu kegiatan operasional. Star Grooming selalu menghadapi permasalahan yang sama dalam keakuratan informasi dan pelayanan pelanggan, oleh karena itu dirancang sebuah aplikasi web untuk membantu baik staff maupun pelanggan. Proses yang akan diotomatisasi melalui aplikasi ini meliputi pemesanan, mengelola pemesanan, memesan produk dan penukaran poin. Tugas akhir ini berfokus pada proses pengembangan sebuah aplikasi yang terdiri dari analisis sistem saat ini, pengumpulan requirements, desain, konstruksi dan perencanaan instalasi. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem ini adalah Rapid Application Development (RAD) dengan metode prototyping. Prototype ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan PHP dan MySQL dengan Unified Modelling Language (UML) versi 2.0. Aplikasi berbasis web ini akan membantu Star Grooming dalam pemesanan online dan pencatatan data. Selain itu, aplikasi ini juga membantu dalam mempertahankan kesetiaan pelanggan dengan cara memberi poin kepada pelanggan yang melakukan pemesanan dan poin tersebut dapat ditukarkan dengan voucher diskon. / As a pet shop, Star Grooming usually handles reservation by phone or direct at the shop. Star Grooming aims to change its system from the current paper-based to computer-based to help company operations. Because the staff often face problems in providing accurate information and serving the customers, a web application is designed to assist both the front officer and the customers by automating the business transactions. These processes include reservation, manage reservation, buy product and redeem points. This final year project concerns the development process of an application that involves analysis of the current system, requirements gathering, design, construction and the installation plan. The methodology used to develop the proposed system is Rapid Application Development (RAD) with prototyping development. The prototype is developed using PHP and MySQL with Unified Modelling Language (UML) version 2.0 as the modeling language. The web-based application will assist Star Grooming in online reservation and data recording. In addition, the application also helps maintain consumer loyalty by giving points to consumers, rewarding them with voucher discount to customers through its reward points.
