Abstract

Awal tahun 2020 dunia dihebohkan dengan adanya COVID-19. Pandemi ini membuat Indonesia memutuskan untuk menutup semua fasilitas umum, termasuk sekolah. Pendidikan harus tetap berjalan dan tidak boleh terhenti. Sekolah akan tetap dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan sistem pembelajaran daring. Hal ini juga diterapkan pada Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fokus, reaksi, dan aspek-aspek siswa TK A dalam mengikuti Home Learning, serta mendeskripsikan dan mengidentifikasi kesulitan yang dihadapi serta solusi yang diharapkan oleh para orang tua siswa dengan adanya Small Learning Group. Sebuah studi kasus digunakan dalam penelitian ini, melibatkan 10 orang tua siswa di Sekolah XYZ. Data didapatkan melalui rubrik guru, serta kuesioner, dan wawancara orang tua siswa, yang kemudian ditriangulasi. Data yang sudah ditriangulasi akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan coding (Strauss & Corbin, 1990). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya Small Learning Group selama siswa TK A mengikuti pembelajaran daring, merupakan hal yang sudah tepat bagi kondisi pandemi seperti ini walaupun kurang maksimal bagi Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. / In the beginning of 2020, the world was shocked by the presence of COVID-19. This pandemic made the Indonesian government decide to close all public facilities, including schools. However, education had to keep going and could not stop just right there. Therefore, it was decided that schools would keep going by implementing a particular online learning system, which was also implemented in Early Childhood Education. This study aims to analyze the focus, reactions, and aspects of the Kindergarten A students in participating in their own home learning, as well as to describe and identify the difficulties encountered and the solutions expected by the parents of the students through Small Learning Group. A case study was used in this study, involving 10 parents of the students at the XYZ School. The data were obtained through the teachers’ rubrics, questionnaires, and interviews with the students' parents, which were then triangulated. The triangulated data were analyzed using the coding system (Strauss & Corbin, 1990). The results have shown that the existence of Small Learning Groups for the Kindergarten A students during their home learning activities, is the right option taken during the pandemic, even though it is not really that optimal for Early Childhood Education.
