Abstract
Ibu-ibu Rumah Pintar BSD memiliki keinginan untuk menambah pengetahuan mengenai makanan yang dapat dibuat untuk keluarga ibu-ibu Rumah Pintar BSD yang intoleransi terhadap gluten. Oleh karena itu, muncullah ide untuk memperkenalkan tepung talas yang dapat diolah menjadi berbagai olahan makanan seperti kue tradisional Indonesia yaitu kue cubit. Dalam rangka memperkenalkan tepung talas cara yang dilakukan adalah dengan mengadakan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat. Ibu – ibu Rumah Pintar BSD belum mengetahui bahwa tepung talas dapat mensubstitusi tepung terigu. Maka pelatihan PkM ini diadakan di Rumah Pintar BSD. PkM ini diselenggarakan oleh Fakultas Pariwisata Universitas Pelita Harapan dalam rangka proyek akhir 2021. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mengajarkan 29 ibu-ibu mengenai penggunaan tepung talas sebagai substitusi tepung terigu pada pembuatan kue cubit. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan melalui pelatihan ini yaitu dengan daring dengan ibu-ibu Rumah Pintar BSD. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu-ibu Rumah Pintar BSD mengenai penggunaan tepung talas dan dapat membantu keluarga ibu-ibu Rumah Pintar BSD yang intoleransi terhadap gluten untuk mengkonsumsi kue cubit./Rumah Pintar BSD community have a desire to increase their knowledge about foods that can be made for the families of Rumah Pintar BSD community who are intolerant of gluten. Therefore, an idea emerged to introduce taro flour which can be processed into various processed foods such as traditional Indonesian cakes, namely kue cubit. In order to introduce taro flour, the way this is done is by holding Community Service. Rumah Pintar BSD community do not know that taro flour can substitute wheat flour. Then this PkM training was held at Rumah Pintar BSD. This PkM was organized by the Tourism Faculty of Pelita Harapan University in the framework of the final project of 2021. This training aimed to teach 29 women about the use of taro flour as a substitute for wheat flour in making cubit cakes. The training method used through this training is online with Rumah Pintar BSD. The results of this training activity are expected to increase the knowledge and skills of Rumah Pintar BSD community regarding the use of taro flour and can help the families of Rumah Pintar BSD community with gluten intolerance to consume cubit cakes.
